VideoResize ("the app") is published by Sparkfall ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: the app does not collect, store, or share any personal data, and nothing you process ever leaves your device.

Information we collect

None. VideoResize does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal or usage data. The app does not request an internet permission and has no analytics, advertising, or tracking.

How your videos are handled

When you share a video into VideoResize, it is compressed entirely on your device.
The compressed copy is written to the app's private cache so you can share it onward.
Cached files are removed automatically after 24 hours, and you can clear them at any time with the Clear cache button on the app's main screen.
Your videos are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

Permissions

VideoResize requests no runtime permissions. It receives videos only through Android's system Share sheet, and it shares the compressed result back through the same system Share sheet, which you control.

Children's privacy

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Third-party services

The app uses no third-party SDKs that collect data. Video processing uses AndroidX Media3, which runs locally on your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
